New Staff

Our new staff introduce themselves.

Mrs Fardy

I would like to formally introduce myself to all the parents and guardians at Squirrels.  Many of you will have seen me out in the afternoon with the wonderful children from Mrs Clark’s class.  I began my working career in industry within the Product Development sector, but after becoming a ‘Military Wife’ and having two beautiful children I made the decision to have a major career change.  I began working with young children and soon acquired qualifications to enhance this role.  I have worked within schools abroad, with children of the deaf, reception, key stage 1 and key stage 2. I am currently working in a Year One class at Squirrels and I am thoroughly enjoying getting to know all of the children.  I would like to thank all the children, staff and parents for making my first term so enjoyable, it is lovely to see all the children’s smiling faces every morning and see the progression they have made within such a small amount of time.

Mrs Graham

I have thoroughly enjoyed my first term at Squirrels. Having moved from a UK school in Germany and then a pre school in Cambridge where the school had  amazing and  positive learning environments for both me and the children, I have been lucky enough to come to another here at WCPS. The boys and all the staff have been warm and very friendly and I am extremely lucky to be part of the Squirrels team. Having been with the reception boys since the start of the new term its lovely to see them all settle into school life really well. All boys throughout the school are very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful and extremely polite which is lovely to see. I look forward to being part of their learning journey in the coming terms.

Miss Henriette

I started working as an Enrichment Teacher at Squirrels two weeks ago and I feel so lucky to be working in such a warm, supportive and positive environment.

I will be working at Squirrels on Thursdays and Fridays, to provide the children with extra support, if needed. This may include extra reading time, one-to-one support or extra support within groups. I am looking forward to working with these enthusiastic, energetic and motivated boys. The children are absolutely delightful and so polite. They all show such good effort into everything they do.

I would like to thank the staff and children who made me feel so welcome and I look forward to teaching at Squirrels over the coming terms!

Madame Wilson – French teacher

One term gone already! What a privilege it is to be part of “la famille Ecureuil” (read “the Squirrels family”!). I have received such a warm welcome that I quickly felt part of the team.

The boys have been incredibly excited about showing off the French some of them have learnt last year. They took to their new lessons with great enthusiasm and enjoyed seeing our French puppet “Monsieur Claude”’s return.

The boys also sang their French Christmas song with pride. I am sure you were able to see our wonderful French display in Orchard Hall.

It is a real pleasure to teach them all and I very much look forward to the coming terms. I would like to wish you a:

JOYEUX NOEL and a BONNE ANNEE 2016 to you and your family.
