Headteacher's Message

I am pleased to be able to write to you at the end of an incredibly busy and exciting term at WCPS and the following superb articles will update you on our achievements and celebrations over the weeks.

Thank you all for your support especially as you know our school was inspected by ISI in November, and indeed your completed Parent View questionnaires contributed hugely to the process. The Inspectors left no stone unturned and we are glad that we rose to the challenge!

Truly great learning requires commitment from teachers and boys, support from parents, as well as clear expectations from all of us, and this culminated with excellent results in our inspection.

We are continuously working to make the curriculum as good as it can be but Squirrels is not only about teaching the core curriculum but it is also about providing children with a rounded and interesting experience that makes them want to learn. The Inspectors liked our initiatives and so we continue to consolidate our endeavours.

We have already organised lots of activities for next term and so I would urge you to continue to check the website for details which will keep you informed of other initiatives as the term progresses.

Finally I wish you a wonderful Christmas break and look forward to seeing you all for the Spring term on Tuesday 9th January.

Have a wonderful winter break!

Kind regards

Tracey Buck
