It’s been another eventful and stimulating time for the boys and staff as you will see from the various articles in this newsletter. We are always busy and delight in the many occasions that our wide curriculum allows this autumn term. We are particularly happy as we celebrate the accomplishment of 100 years as a successful school, culminating with our wonderfully poignant carol service of 2019.
Reception boys have settled well into life at our school, Year 1 successful in their move into KS1 and Year 2 have faced the challenges of the 7+ tests with enormous enthusiasm and success. Please celebrate their achievements as you read the articles from the term.
Sadly we say goodbye to Mrs Debbie West who has been with us for a number of years and I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all that she has done for the boys and the school throughout her time with us. Mrs West is retiring for a well-earned rest. We also say farewell for now to Mrs Jenna Webb and Mrs Alison Logan as they depart on Maternity leave for the next academic year. We look forward to the new additions to the WCPS family in due course!
We welcome Miss Alison Mullens who will become Chestnut class teacher and Miss Nicola Sargeant who will be the Reception teacher in Elm class. We look forward to them all joining our flourishing school community.
I would like to draw your attention to the future diary dates which are available on the website and to seeing as many of you as possible at these upcoming events.
It remains for me to wish you all a very happy and Joyful Christmas. I hope you all have a fun and celebratory family time together
I look forward to seeing you for our new academic year on Tuesday 7th January.
With very best wishes
Mrs Tracey Buck
