The Friends of Squirrels continued to support us this term despite the difficult circumstances. A Race for Children was organised over half term. The boys were asked to calculate how far they walked, cycled and ran over the two week period.  This was then sponsored by family and friends.  The idea was to raise funds to be split between Childline and to fund activities to enrich the curriculum.  The boys did wonderfully well, travelling a total distance of over 4,000km over the two-week break and raising in excess of £5,000.

Ravine travelled the furthest a total of 1,791km, 2nd Kingmere – 973.78 km, 3rd Bluegate – 662.35 km, 4th Queensmere – 578.61 km.

Queensmere house raised the most donations, a whopping £2,485! 2nd Ravine £1,105, 3rd Kingsmere £1,000, 4th Bluegate £873 for Childline and FoS.

In addition to this FoS organised and distributed our harvest collection for the Wimbledon Guild.

The term culminated in a virtual Christmas fair on Saturday 28th November, activities included a charity raffle, performances by the boys and staff along with lots of other activities.

All the funds raised from these events will help to pay for activities to help enrich the curriculum for the boys.
