Squirrels collected countless tins, jars and packets of food for Wimbledon Guild and we thank our whole community for your kindness and generosity.

It was the job of Reception to learn some super songs and actions to perform for the whole school to celebrate this year’s harvest festival.  Not only their first performance at school but their first whole-school assembly in Orchard Hall. Year 1 and Year 2 provided a very appreciative audience, listening carefully and trying very hard not to join in with the class songs!  Luckily Miss Fourie was on hand to provide us with a whole school rendition of ‘Big, Red, Combine Harvester’ – a firm favourite!

Sadly this was another occasion where the pandemic has changed our original plans, but we are resilient if nothing else and the boys definitely rose to the occasion of singing for the videos that we shared with families.  They loved watching these back in the classroom and we know that you will have enjoyed them as well!
