We celebrated ‘Safer Internet Day’ on Monday 29th January. We were very lucky to receive a visit from ‘Perform’ who led workshops with each class in the school.
The sessions looked at the benefits, and many positives, of internet use but also the times when the boys will need to be wise online. Using role-play, all the boys were able to think through a range of different scenarios and how they should best tackle them, if faced with them! The boys were able to act and advise characters in situations that may not be all they seemed. We learn the key rules: zip it, block it, flag it.
A huge thank you to FOS who funded the workshop opportunity in school. Also, thank you very much to Perform for delivering these excellent workshops. They run regular weekly classes in the local area so please visit perform.org.uk to find out more.
