Year 1 were delighted to be asked to lead the Easter Assembly on Tuesday 26th March. The boys had been busy rehearsing for 5 weeks and could not wait to share their hard work with the audience; particularly sing their spring songs!
Orchard Hall was packed with parents, grandparents and siblings all waiting with excitement and anticipation. There was eagerness in the classrooms as the boys finally got to wear their amazing Easter bonnets! Year 1 did an astounding job at reciting their lines ensuring they projected their voices and used clear speech. They also put a huge smile on the audience’s faces as they sang their memorable spring songs. The boys shared the importance of Easter time by retelling the Christian Easter story and talked about the season of spring. They also conveyed that Easter time is a time to celebrate and be thankful for all the new life around us.
Thank you to all the parents who came to support the assembly and helped to make a beautiful bonnet for their son. Very well done to all the Year 1 boys for their superb efforts in their assembly.
