This term, FoS looked at ways to make the meetings more accessible for all parents. We took the decision to hold the meetings at alternate times to accommodate this. We now hold a meeting on a Monday night and then the next month on a Friday morning at a local cafe. This initiative was well received by the school community and we saw a bumper turn out to our first Friday morning meeting held in February.

FoS were happy to help out with the getting to know you coffee mornings held at the beginning of term. We also enjoyed helping out with the book week book festival. This included a second hand book sale, sweet stall and craft area. We were supported by Miss Hemings and the School Council. We raised £289 at this event.

Lots of fabulous activities for the boys happened this term. We funded the dance workshops, French day, a visiting author, Genie Lab and Wonderdome in science week and the fabulous Exploration Society. We also provided new books for the library and funded 2 picnic benches, which the boys will hopefully get use of in the summer term. Lots of brilliant new ideas have also been put forward by the teaching staff this term and we look forward to the boys experiencing them.
