At WCPS we recognise that healthy eating is an very important approach to snacks and lunches.
Parents may opt to send in packed lunches or to sign up with our school lunch provider, Lunch Munch 4 Kidz (LM4K), to have lunch delivered to the school for their child.
This flexibility of choice enables parents to select food that they know their child will enjoy and to have control of the special dietary requirements of pupils from religious groups and different cultures, vegetarians and vegans and those with medical conditions restricting the foods they may eat.
We ask that snacks from home are provided each day. Every class has a snack time in the morning in their classroom and children come together at lunch time to eat together, enjoying a sociable experience as well as learning table manners. WCPS is a nut free school and as such we ask that any snacks provided adhere to this.
